World T20, 2nd Semi-Final

India vs West Indies

at Mumbai, Mar 31, 2016
West Indies 196/3 beat India 192/2 by 7 wickets

The Most Famous Cricketer in the World

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar:The man's a walking textbook - his technique makes scoring runs so easy. His low grip, along with his heavy bat, help him create incredible power for his drives, cuts and glances. His bat weighs almost three-and-half pounds (1.42 kg), probably the heaviest used by a batsman in world cricket...
And he is the only player among the current lot who found his way into Bradman's favorite all-time World XI.

An all time Great!

Known as the Little Master and recognised by Sir Donald Bradman as his modern-day incarnation, Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest and most dynamic batsmen to ever play the game of cricket. .

India Cricket LiveThe 10,000 Run: The moment came minutes after the tea break. The fifth ball of the 62nd over, bowled at 2.40pm, by Abdul Razzaq, was just short of a length and slanting into the pads, and Sachin Tendulkar moved across his stumps and tucked the ball to the on-side to scale another personal summit. With that run, he became the fifth player in the world, and the second Indian, to score 10,000 Test runs. A little known fact is that it was Imran Khan who had requested him to postpone his retirement after the Aussies series and told him "You've been a great friend and a great rival. Let's play against each other one more time."
